The couple version made people cry. The zombie dog video made them call their dog over and hug it. It is the same sixteen-second story, a ruined world, a gun that never fires and a hard cut to a warm memory, with your pet as the one who turns.
How the pet version plays
- The turn. Snow, wind, stalled cars. Your dog limps toward you, still wearing its collar, fur grey and matted, eyes milky white.
- The gun. You aim, crying. You can't do it.
- The tilt. That familiar tilt of the head. You drop the gun and fall to your knees with your arms open.
- The memory. Hard cut to summer: the dog bounds into your arms, you throw a ball, it brings it back proud as anything. Forehead to forehead. Fade out.
Photos that work
- Your pet's whole face, eyes visible. A front-on photo at their eye level beats a photo from above.
- Collar on, if they wear one. It is the detail that makes the zombie version unmistakably your dog.
- One animal per photo. For you, one person per photo, shoulders up.
- Cats work too. The cat version is smaller, slower and somehow sadder.
Make it in three minutes
On the zombie couple video generator, choose Dog or Cat under "Who turns", upload your pet's photo and your own, and pick a world. The frozen highway that cuts to a summer road trip is our favourite for dogs. The film comes back as a 16-second, 9:16 MP4 with sound. Your first one is free.
Making it by hand instead
If you use Google Flow, Dreamina or Kling, describe the pet carefully: breed, coat colours, markings, collar. Then add the zombie look ("patchy grey fur, milky white eyes"), and in the memory reel make sure you write "the healthy dog", or it may stay grey. The full prompts are in our zombie AI prompts guide.
Is it too sad?
It ends on fetch in the sun. That is the point of the hard cut: the worst moment you can imagine, then a reminder that today, your dog is fine and probably asleep on your feet.
