Sixteen seconds, two reels
Each zombie couple video follows the beats that made the trend. Reel one is cold and grey. Then the cut. Reel two is golden and alive.
Three steps
One clear photo of whoever turns, one of whoever holds the gun. Partners, best friends, family and pets all work.
Choose where the world ends and which memory it cuts to, from a rain-soaked city to a golden beach.
Both reels render on Veo 3.1, we splice them at the embrace and hand you a 16-second zombie couple video with sound. About three minutes.
Four worlds
Every zombie couple video pairs a ruined place with a memory. Point at a card to make the cut.

Reel 01Reel 02→ Golden-hour beach
Abandoned cars, rain and a distant siren, then the two of you on a sunset beach. The classic zombie couple video.

Reel 01Reel 02→ Summer road trip
A jack-knifed truck in falling snow, then summer: wildflowers and an old car with the doors open.

Reel 01Reel 02→ Night at the fair
A dark Ferris wheel in the fog, then the same fair years ago with every light on.

Reel 01Reel 02→ The first dance
Broken stained glass and falling ash, then string lights and the slowest dance of your life.
Who do you refuse to shoot?

The original
The zombie couple video that started it all: girlfriend, boyfriend, wife or husband.

Ride or die
The friend you would never leave behind. Sisters and roommates count too.

The tearjerker
Mom, dad, grandma, grandpa. The version people send to the family group chat.

Good boy
Your dog or cat turns, comes back wagging instead of biting, then plays in the sun.
The trend
The zombie couple video is a short AI film format that took off on TikTok, Instagram Reels and YouTube Shorts in late September 2026. Someone you love appears as a zombie in a ruined world. You raise a gun and can’t pull the trigger. They come at you, and the instant they reach you, the grey scene hard-cuts to a warm memory of the two of you.
Most creators make it by hand: two photos into Google Flow, Dreamina or Kling, two long prompts, a zombie scene and a memory scene, then a cut in CapCut. It works, but it takes an hour, a few failed renders and an editor. You will also hear it called the zombie love story, the AI zombie trend or the zombie hug trend.
Here the whole zombie couple video is made in one go: your photos become the cast, the story is written for you, and both reels are spliced at the exact moment of the embrace.
